Richard Reeves
Biographer and former Chief Political Correspondent for The New York Times

Richard Reeves, former chief political correspondent of The New York Times, is the author of the acclaimed trilogy on the American Presidency, President Kennedy: Profile of Power; President Nixon: Alone in the White House; and President Reagan: The Triumph of Imagination. His books were national bestsellers, and the Kennedy biography received Time Magazine’s Best Non-Fiction Book award in 1993 and Book of the Year by Washington Monthly.

Reeves is currently the senior lecturer of the Annenberg School at the University of Southern California. He is also a syndicated columnist whose work appears weekly on Yahoo.com and in more than 100 newspapers.  He was named a "literary lion” by the New York Public Library, was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize, and served as a juror for that prestigious award.

Reeves has also won all of television’s major documentary awards: the Columbia-DuPont Award for PBS “Struggle for Birmingham;” the George Foster Peabody Award for PBS “Red Star over Khyber” and an Emmy for NBC News “Lights, Camera…Politics!”

Known for his groundbreaking perspectives and insights, Reeves will share with us his comments on American politics, current events and global issues to provide a fresh look at our past, present and future.
