Glenn Beck
Radio Talk Show Host
Glenn Beck is a leading voice among the political right in America. His folksy, passionate style has helped him syndicate his radio program on more than 300 stations across the nation. He has authored seven consecutive #1 bestselling books. His controversial stances continuously fuel cheers and outrage throughout the country. Beck's refusal to back down on what he says has helped him build one of the more lucrative media brands.
Beck landed his first radio job at the age of 13 when he won a local AM station’s contest for a guest DJ. Two years later, Beck was hired for a DJ job at a new Seattle FM station. He then crisscrossed the country, working DJ and radio talk show jobs from Seattle to Philadelphia. By 2006, his reach vastly expanded when CNN hired him. Then in 2008 he moved to the FOX News Channel where he first began stoking the political right’s fears about President Obama’s agenda. His shows in 2009 were highly influential to the Tea Party's response to the healthcare overhaul.
Never afraid to speak his views, Beck’s Southwestern Michigan visit will spark conversations long after our last meeting of this season ends.
